Consulting Marketing Manager - Dudutech
About Dudutech
Dudutech is Africa's leading manufacturer and supplier of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) solutions, delivering sustainable crop protection alternatives to farmers across Africa. Their range and philosophy emphasise the mainstream use of biological agents, essentially leveraging relationships with other organisms for the benefit of growing crops. These include natural predator-prey food-chain flows, antagonistic and parasitic relationships, as well as synergies beneficial to crops. Farmers use the biologicals as part of an integrated strategy which also incorporates using physical traps, cultural practices and environment/people-friendly chemicals.
From their production site based in Naivasha, Dudutech manufacture over 17 individual biological lines, including predatory mites, nematodes, fungi and parasitoid wasps, supported by over 30 other internationally sourced solutions including a crop nutrition range, traps, pheromones and chemicals.
About the role
As consulting marketing manager for Dudutech, I supported the MD and commercial team in developing their brand and presence within Africa. During my tenure, their product reach has rapidly extended beyond Kenya to Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, each country with its own regulations.
